Vintage Love

Last weekend we attended my BF's grandparents' 60th anniversary. 60TH!!!! Many couples celebrate their one year anniversary, five years or even ten years...but 60th is really something special. At the anniversary party, they shared photos from their trips to over 70 countries around the world. It was clear that their passion for travelling kept them closer than ever over the years. Of course, that's the not only thing, since relationships take serious work, but being able to celebrate their years of togetherness was inspirational!

On a more outfit-related note, I chose a vintage-inspired black laced dress with neutral accessories. My favorite part of the dress is the strips of fabric, giving it a flirty light-weight quality. It's like pleats...but prettier and less conformed! I wish I can remember which store I got it from but this was a reward from one of those random boutique shoppings from out of town. Sorry ladies.

By the way, I'm happy to be back - physically in writing and mentally present. I had a lot happening in the last few weeks so I decided to take a mental break. I know a lot of things in life are all about consistency but having some time to reset and recharge is amazingly important. (Honestly, I didn't think anyone would notice my MIA status, but some did so thanks for caring! You the best!)
